What makes a good pitch

Tell us the subject, the main point you want to explain and why it would interest our readers. A strong proposal has a clear angle rather than a broad topic, avoids repeating a familiar article and can be useful without unsupported claims, risky instructions or assumptions about every rider's circumstances.

What to include

Send a short outline, the intended reader and a note about any specialist knowledge or firsthand experience relevant to the proposed piece. Do not include private information you do not want to share. We welcome original work and thoughtful explanations; we do not promise publication or a particular response time.
